Tired of the endless electro scene in Paris? We’ve already written to you about the Hip-Hop exposition happening at the Institut du Monde Arabe, but we haven’t yet warned you about the Block Party arranged to celebrate its final day on Sunday, July 26th, 2015.
After the great success of the exhibit, the IMA will close this expo with a bang – live hip-hop artists and DJ sets, from Pusha T to Malikah, and notably Virgil Abloh (aka Flat White), Kanye West’s creative director.
Take to the streets (more specifically, the esplanade of the institute) this Sunday for a hip-hop vibe straight from the Bronx, Arab streets, and Paris. Focusing on the style of the late 70s, the Block Party is sure to be the intense Sunday summer party in the ‘hood, far away from the regular Parisian scene.
If you are interested in this unique and culturally diverse experience hard to find otherwise in Paris, don’t miss out on this party! Tickets are around 30€ per person.
Tip: Have you already gone to see the “Hip-hop, du Bronx aux rues arabes”? Do you still have your ticket? If so, you get a 10 euro reduction on your entry ticket upon presentation if you show up to the party after 5PM on July 26th. Reversely, if you would like to see the exhibit but have already bought your party ticket, you get a 5 euro reduction on your exhibit ticket upon presentation.
When? Sunday, July 26th 2015, from 5PM to midnight.
Where? Parvis de l’IMA, 1 Rue des Fossés Saint-Bernard, 75005 Paris
