Lucky we are, art lovers in Paris, as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMoma) closed for renovation and extensions sent its masterworks to the RMN – Grand Palais in Paris for more than two months and this unique “American Icons” (Icônes américaines) exhibition (#sfmomaparis). The Fisher Collection, one of the world largest modern art collection, is also hosted in Paris for that same time period.

What painters are we talking about? The greatest 20th-century American artists: Andy Warhol, Alexander Calder, Roy Lichtenstein, Ellsworth Kelly, Agnes Martin, Richard Diebenkorn, Chuck Close, Sol LeWitt, Cy Twombly and more!


When? April 8 to June 22, 2015, everyday but Tuesday from 10am to 8pm (night session on Wednesday until 10pm). Closed May 1st, 2015. Free entrance under 16 years old/ 9 to 12€ then.
