With American Independence Day fast approaching, many tourists, expats, and locals alike will come together to celebrate July 4th. Albeit under different motivations and reasons, it is certain that you will find a variety of events and celebrations of American culture and Parisian life. Fortunately, we’ve compiled some ideas to help you make the most of your July 4th weekend during your stay in Paris.
“Paris-NY” at the Paris Jazz Festival
An option is the Paris Jazz Festival – Jazz, a veritable American genre and inspiration, is undoubtedly international in its repute and appreciation. Held from June 7th to July 26th at the Parc Floral, the Festival has “Paris – New York” as its modern theme for the July 4th weekend performances. Starting at 3:30PM, the Jazz Festival is a great way to celebrate American cultural and musical influences throughout the world and in Paris in a wholly new way.

The festival lasts 5 nights from July 1-5th, 2015 with venues changing by day, so even if you can’t make it on Independence Day, there are definitely more opportunities to check it out.
