The cheapest (and best) gyozas and raviolis in East Paris. And one of our favorite Asian spots, if you’re famished and craving for fast and delicious Chinese food. The proof Paris is not just about French gourmet cuisine but a spot for worldwide culture, especially in the Belleville neighbourhood.
This tiny restaurant of 35 seats might be the most underrated places in Paris. Small venue, family restaurant, home made gyozas, cheapeast prices, smiling staff, often crowded but not noisy -a waiting line on the pavement on weekend nights.
To avoid the crowds at this local Parisian secret, we recommend you go there for a weekend lunch or a quick early dinner after a stroll in Belleville before going back home or to your hotel. Actually you could go there anytime just for a plate of sliced cooked eggplants and one of 15 tasty pork and chives raviolis.
Let me get to the price rates. A plate of 15 of these raviolis is 5.5 to 6.5€! Can’t be any cheaper. So let’s take two of these. 30 gyozas then. And a plate of eggplants is 5 euros (the marinade is a killer). And a Chinese beer for 3 euros. 15 to 20€ (if you’re really hungry) each for a full dinner in a lovely place you will recommend.
