Every year in Paris, you’ll find hordes of people waiting in line to go to different museums across the city. Along with the heat, it’s a good idea to think of alternatives than waiting on these long queues under the strong afternoon sun.

This summer especially, don’t miss out on the great expositions that the world’s best museums are offering here in Paris. Fortunately, although most museums will close at around 6PM, several well-known museums have certain select days on which they close later, around 9-10PM.

During your art-filled trip to Paris, be savvy and skip the times when the museums will be most filled! We’ve gone ahead and compiled an easy-to-digest list of nocturnal opening hours of different museums, so that your research is already done and you can enjoy the museums Paris has to offer without the queues, crowd, and stress. Go alone, with friends, or as a family to enjoy these calmer evening hours, or have a spontaneous night adventure in Paris.
