Envision trendy, garden-fresh specialties plus all the quaint charm of a Parisian café. This is what you’ll find at Bob’s Kitchen, in Le Marais district

This all-vegetarian hole-in-the-wall serves young Parisian hipsters and bobos, and is mostly run by them too. The menu changes daily according to market availability and in-season freshness, and offers a remarkable amount of variety for its small size.

Bob’s is famous for its Italian veggie stew with homemade satay sauce and futomaki (think giant sushi roll), but also carries delicious pancakes, bagels topped creatively with hummus, avocado, honey and feta, and other daily specials. Take advantage of the free pot of herbal tea at every table or enjoy one of Bob’s cold-pressed juices (pineapple, mint, raspberries, orange, banana).
Top it off with desserts including green tea cookies, vegan crumble, or banana cream pie depending on the day.

Make sure to get there early because this joint gets crowded! Or if it’s sunny you can take your order to go and picnic on the lake at nearby Square du Temple.

When? Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm // Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm
