Hipsters (or bobos) just crossed the River Seine to take over the Left Bank in Paris! If you’re in the mood for a trendy shopping session in the Sèvres-Babylone district, read further. “Brooklyn Rive Gauche (Left Bank)” is the shopping event to know about in Paris this September.

For six weeks, Le Bon Marché (the Left Bank biggest and fanciest concept store) and at La Grande Epicerie (the Left Bank biggest and fanciest gourmet grocery store) host a very special hipster popup store with no less than 100 brands, artists and creators straight outta Brooklyn: fashion, gastronomy, beauty, accessories, kids, home deco, design.

Words you now use everyday and sound trendy were all “made” in the trendsetting districts of Brooklyn, in Williamsburg and GreenPoint: “homemade“, “Do It Yourself“, “local“, “vintage“, “foodie“, “green” “healthy” or “organic” now rule the world!
