Paris is always full of green and beautiful secrets. Paris might not be famous for its parks and gardens (compared to New York or London) but it is because they’re all secret and hidden!

Catherine Labouré garden is one of them. Hidden from the street by a rock wal, right behind Le Bon Marché department store on the Left Bank, it is a real countryside garden with lots of trees. It used to be the Daughters of Charity’s potager (from the 1630s to 1977). You can still see the monestary in the back.

Locals and families hang out there with the kids and strollers for a picnic or an afternoon in the sun/ It can also be the right place for a romantic nap in the sun. It is also the perfect spot to enjoy your fresh brewed coffee bought at Coutume, the local and specialty coffee shop, just on the other side of the street.
