For those who watched TV in the early 2000s, it’s Dewey from the sitcom «Malcolm in the Middle», with movie/tv star Bryan Cranston (bald man from Breaking Bad).

This unusual restaurant is among our favorite places in the 17h arrondissement, in North Paris, in the Batignolles district.

Dewey

The owners of this restaurant, all in their 30s, are more than just big TV fans, they’re also and great cooks. But first, the idea of this restaurant was to create an off-the wall atmosphere, like the TV sitcom. Three different atmospheres wait for you, including the bedroom, a comfy and cozy room for larger groups to sit around one big table.

CHAMBRE Dewey

The main room is a pop-modern atmosphere while the second one reminds of a country house backyard.

MUR FENETRE

The best place to check in for a weekend brunch (25 euros, average price in the neighborhood) or a week friends night out.

For those who have no idea who Dewey, the French homemade cuisine still deserves you make a stop there. Try the filet with the rasperry French dressing and then the cod loin with the provencal ratatouille. Finish by the Vanilla Pana cotta (one of our favorite in Paris).

Feel free to check out their creative menu and the Facebook page for the latest news. Booking at +33 6 11 55 86 00 (book in advance, especially if you want to be seated in the bedroom).
