Since its creation in 1967, Puyricard has been the true chocolate institution from Provence, the sunny region in South France. Good thing they opened stores in Paris then!
Why is it so good? All the chocolates prepared by this artisanal chocolate maker are hand-made in their factory near Puyricard in Provence with natural products. The freshness of their chocolate is their strenght. Hence, you have to eat your chocolates within three months. Also, while it takes them about 1 minute and 10 seconds in average to make one small piece of chocolate, it takes you 10 seconds to eat it and the taste stays in your mouth for about a minute!
Moreover it’s the extreme variety of chocolates that you’ll find at Puyricard that makes the difference: from refined pieces, to truffles, to tablets, calissons, citrus and colorful chocolates, nougats, chocolates enrobed almonds, nuts and hazelnuts or candied chestnuts. In order for you to taste all of them, Puyricard gives you the possibility to make your own box and has no prepackaged boxes (except gift baskets if you’d like).
When? From Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm (non-stop at the avenue Rapp location below)
