This exhibition “Déjà Stars” or “Already Celebrities” is guaranteed Photoshop-free and with #Nofilter. Johnny Hallyday, Elvis Presley, Sylvester Stallone, John Travolta, Serge Gainsbourg, Sigourney Weaver and so many more celebrities like you’ve never seen them before.
How did they look like back in the day, when they were just young early starters? Some faces are funny (let’s say fashionable at the time), some are just unrecognizable.
An era without Photoshop
This unique back and white photo exhibition made of 400 snaps shot by Marcel Thomas between 1947 and 1990 take you to an era when you could easily photograph the stars in real life. No make up or digital tricks to make them look better. A real treat when you think of all the buzz over whether or not photographs of celebrities are retouched nowadays.
When? From February 23 to May 25, 2015. Monday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 6pm. (Entrance fee: 1 euro)
