For the last 30 years, Miss.Tic, this street artist has been an inspiration for all Parisians as she’s been painting our streets ever since with iconic quotes, poems and drawings, mostly the face or the skinny body of a woman, a femme fatale.

If you’ve already been to Paris, the chances are high you saw one of her graffiti.

Her drawings are now part of our daily life

MissTic, by the tourist in paris

She’s a precursor as far as street art is concerned, and when she started in the 80s, this type of art wasn’t as popular as it is today, among artists, professionals or art fans. But she kept on painting our streets with strong messages, mostly funny, connected to social and political issues and the news.

She’s now the most famous Parisian street artist and her drawings are part of our daily life as we walk by hundreds of them all time. All of her drawings on her Facebook page.

{OVER} Her work was gathered in an exhibition at the the Galerie Lélia Mordoch in Saint-Germain des Près (Left Bank).

When? November 6th-December 23rd from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 7pm.

Where? Galerie Lélia Mordoch
50, rue Mazarine 75006 Paris
Metro: Odéon (Line 10)
