In the Opera district in center Paris, just nearby the Galeries Lafayette, luxurious Hotel Banke just earned its fifth star on Fall 2014. 92 spacious bedrooms/suites and many improvements since 2009 when it first opened in an old bank building, helped a lot.

But its freshly restored restaurant Josefin -a warm and relaxing atmosphere in an intimate setting- is now a corner stone of the whole success. With a brand new French chef on board, restaurant Josefin cuisine prepares a sophisticated cuisine largely influenced by Mediterranean scents and flavours.

You can find on the menu creative dishes such like the Broken eggs/Bellota ham/White truffle oil followed by the Pluma iberian pork/Wild mushrooms fricassée and baby potatoes. A rather not expensive 29-euro lunch menu for a break. You could also head to the Lolabar cocktail bar for a tasty and Spanish inspired tapas and cocktails menu (photo below). The Lolabar also has an impressive collection of more than 100 Gin from all around the world.

Who come here? Mostly American and UK visitors, interested by Fashion and Design. Perfect for a business meal as well.
