This place is closed from October 16th, 2016 to next Summer!
We’d say it’s hard to find a more eclectic and hispter playground for your summer 2016 in North Paris.
Remember last Summer pop-up eclectic venue in North Paris called Ground Control? It is being replaced this Summer 2016 by Grand Train, still located in the in the old SNCF (train) depot in the La Chapelle area, until October 16th, 2016.
Last year this unconventionnal venue gathered 200 000 visitors for a drink, to grab a bite or enjoy many different activities.
This temporary bar and associated installations transform the SNCF building into a cool and curious indoor and outdoor arena of 6000 square meters, with free space to eat with no less than 8 restaurants: their famous hot-dogs by Dad, The ASADO Club, a terrific Argentinian BBQ, Jules et Shim, refined Korean street food, helmut newcake, gluten-free pastries, Roberta Cuisine Événementielle with their ceviches and pizzas and finally Maison Wafflegänger for their delicious waffle-burgers.
Also, drink at the outdoor bar, play pétanques, dance, enjoy screenings in the movie theater, or art and guided visits inside the museum. Don’t miss the Vinyl Market every Thursday!
Also, secondhand stores, collective farms, a librairy, a kids space, gardens, a grocery store, markets and DIY space.
