Looking for a warm cosy chic bistrot with a Manhattan atmosphere (the restaurant actually has a sibling in New York!) in South Pigalle, in North Paris.
In an intimate atmosphere, Buvette Gastrothèque offers a tasty choice of French gastronomic tapas food and wine,a s well as home made cocktails. (We love the little vintage booklet of food and wine stories and tutorials on your table – picture below): black sausage, whipped potato-cheese with Bayonne ham, brandade, coq au vin, marrowbone, etc.
The house special is for sure the melty grilled ham and cheese sandwich (the famous French croque-monsieur). Hat’s off to that.
The perfect venue for a friendly or romantic dinner or brunch (dishes are made for sharing), for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening at the wooden bar.
When? Monday to Friday from 8:30am to midnight non-stop, and Weekends from 10am to midninght. No reservation (arrive before 8pm or after 10pm for dinner, before 12:30 for lunch)
7 days a week
