Located at the foot of Montmartre, the Halle Saint-Pierre, a unique covered market and venue for outsider art, on the Paris hill, hosts a can’t-miss exhibition for drawings fans.

Called Les cahiers dessinés, (Illustrated Books), this exhibition gathers 500 unique -mostly forgotten- black humour, independent, crazy drawings by French drawers Vuillemin or Sempé, US artist Steinberg (from the New Yorker) and more than 60 other great artists. More on the official website.

When? From January 21 until August 14, 2015, from 11am  (12pm on Sundays) to 6pm. Entrance fees: 8€.

After your visit? Have a beer at local bar, Café du Commerce.
