We paid our check at the end of our meal and Les Chouettes didn’t spend one cent for this article. We write about what we think is best for you.
On the square of Carreau du Temple in Le Marais district in Paris, Les Chouettes, opened in October 2014, offers a great setting for a dinner under the glass roof of this renovated industrial and art deco building. You definitely come here to admire the surroundings.
With 160 seats, a 20 meter high skylight, unusual first floor gangways, confortable chairs and velvet couches, Les Chouettes is a chic, sophisticated but relaxed restaurant with a creative refined French cuisine, like this girolle mushrooms fricassee, fried soft-boiled egg, bresaola and truffles.
With its fireplace, Les Chouettes is a great fall and winter destination. Also has a great cocktail bar for you to stop by.
Ask for the tables for 2 on the first floor for a romantic night or the wooden table for 6 in the center for a friendly dinner. Perfect a dinner during the week (40€ per person for starter, main course and wine) or your Sunday brunch.
Also a great summer spot with its terrasse for dinner or just a drink.
What we didn’t like: The poor quality of the service. While the head room manager is great and highly experienced his staff is kind of disastrous.
