For two weeks, Paris and its region celebrates for its third year Les Semaines du Mangeons Local (or, the Weeks of ‘let’s eat local’).

Browse, savor, and discover the fresh and fertile Parisian region, called Ile-de-France.

From September 12th to 27th, 2015, you will have markets, farmers, restaurants, street food creators, and grocers putting “local” back on the map.

And for two days during these weeks, “La Fabuleuse Fête du Manger Local” (or the Fabulous festival of eating local) will take place on the Berges of the Seine in the heart of Paris. This festival will host 100% French producers and markets, those labelled 100% local (produced, made, and consumed here), and even a temporary garden. In an idyllic and countryside theme, come fill your basket with local goods and taste the local recipes.

A perfect event for foodies and healthy eaters looking to learn more about the high-quality and local produce of the Paris area.

Find more information on their official site and Facebook page.

When? The weeks of eating local are celebrated from September 12th to 27th, 2015. The Fabulous Festival is on September 12th from 10AM and 13th until 7PM, 2015.
