We pay our own checks at the end of our meals and La Marée Jeanne didn’t spend one cent for this article. We write about what we think is best for you.

Within five minutes walking distance from unpleasant and noisy Les Halles district, is a vibrant neighborhood called Montorgueil. Pedestrians-only streets, new generation of coffee shops, concept-stores and restaurants booming on every corner of this lively bobo district.

La Marée Jeanne, (marée means tide in French) opened in March 2015, is a great catch for all seafood lovers. This colorful  neobistrot created by the owners of Jeanne B, a Montmartre bistrot serving great French cuisine, gives an innovative and creative look to your traditional plate of fish.

You have the choice between two sizes: tapas (that are actually bigger than a typical tapas plate you have in mind) or an actual regular size plate.

From creamed cod and smoked egg with citrus caviar and beans to cold small squids with a glass of white wine, you’ll quickly forget your traditional seafood restaurant.

Lunch menu (with three dishes) for an affordable 18€ is your best solution. Or go for a starter (6 to 9€) and then a main course for more or less 20€.

When? From 12pm to 3pm and from 7pm to 10:30pm

Bookings at reservations@lamareejeanne.com or at +33 1 42 61 58 34.
