During the Summer 2014, we introduced to you the Pavillon des Canaux, this Ufo-house by the Canal de l’Ourcq, in East Paris, the hipster and avant-garde neighborhood in Paris.

When it reopened in 2014, it was an old building turned into a street art center and a coffice (a place in between a coffee shop and an office!)

It then closed and re(re)opened, in March, 2015 and is much more than just a chill artsy spot. It is still a coffee shop to hang out or have some work done during the day and now is a kitchen and an evening bar as well from Thursdays to Sundays. Events are planned all year long. Check out their Facebook page to get up to date.

And you can play petanque there, the popular South France (turned hipster) game. What is petanque?

When? Everyday from 9am to Midnight (to 10pm on Sundays).
