493 meters of street art on a wall/forum and place of social dialogue. And Paris named it after the famous US African-American woman activist.
Created by locals from the 19th arrondissement de Paris, and a street artist team made of four women, “Rosa Parks fait le Mur” also has an open air art gallery, facing at some point recently renovated art & cultural centre Le CentQuatre (a laid-back secret café inside to seat down after your visit). This wall, in the rising La Goutte d’or district, is a unique door to free expression about liberties and human rights.
From December 2015, Rosa Parks is also the name of a brand RER (Paris public transportation) station in North East Paris which purpose is to reunite locals from Northern suburbs with Parisians. One of the first great fulfilments of the future Grand Paris.
