For an entire weekend, on October 18 to 19, 2014, 2.000 square meters are dedicated to vintage shopping. Where? Located in Le Marais, close to place de la République, inside the freshly renovated covered Market, the Carreau du Temple, a place opened to art and fashion events as well as food.
Parisians are addicted to that kind of eclectic places and vintage events for their home decoration or to keep up with the last clothing trends. And let’s be honest, it’s a great place to spend an hour or two and just hang out.
This Fall salon is a UK edition: A hundred of British fashion exhibitors selling furniture, clothes and vinyls, all from the 1950s to the 90s. Don’t miss the exhibition on UK fashion from Mary Quant to Vivienne Westwood, with exclusive David Bowie concerts posters.
And like all these new kinds of Paris events, it ends with a DJ set. The special guest is the very famous retro DJ Boy George, Saturday, at 9pm.
Fun fact: you can win a retro hair cut this weekend (nice souvenir from Paris if your boss is ok with it).
Entrance is 5 euros, from 11am to 9pm. If you want to come both days and attend the party, the ticket is sold 22 euros.
