After a stroll through Montmartre, or after a show in a theater near Place de Clichy, a romantic and gastronomic dinner is not too much to ask. Le Strobi (backward of Bistrot) gives you a cozy setting and a creative French cuisine in a rather lively neighborhood. Locals like it for a week-night dinner or for a romantic date on a Friday.  And the food lovers will recommand it to you.

There, you can choose between tables for two, round tables for six (they don’t mind seating you there if you’re only three or four) or even couches for two! And you can choose the size of your dishe: gourmet (which is a bit larger than a tapas size, satisfying if you take two) or gourmand (a regular but satisfying plate).

But much more than the setting, the cuisine is just perfectly tasty. By mixing French classic dishes with new flavors from all over the world, this kitchen makes a difference. And while you wait, they serve you an unsual but flavourful snack: Wasabi potato chips. A treat! In dessert, go for the Stoblerone, a tiramisu with Toblerone. And the cuisine is vegeterian friendly.

Here’s a video introducing the venue and the chefs Ana and Jonathan, to help you decide.

Price range: 20 euros per person. Don’t forget to check out their Facebook page.
