Cheap and typical, the Aligre market located near Bastille, in South East Right Bank, is cherished by the locals. One of the rare remains of this working class area in Paris turned trendy-bohemian.

Why? One of the oldest markets in town; great local and traditional produces; a lively and welcoming market to hang out on your weekends mornings. A great place to shop like a local in Paris and then grab a coffee on the sunbathed terraces on the square.

Great bargain hunts on Saturdays.

For a bite after? East Mamma.

When? Open everyday but Monday from 9am to 6pm (1:30pm on Sundays)
