A small secret jungle in the middle of the urban jungle. Le Bistrot des Dames or the “Ladies’ bistrot” if you had to translate is a little piece of haven in North Paris, in the Batignolles district.
Don’t mind the old bistrot look of the front window, first appearances can be tricky and you won’t see the garden from a street point of view. After walking across the room, and down the stairs, a cute little quiet garden hides there in the back, with a few seats and tables for an evening drink (glass or wine) or a dinner in a flowery and green surrounding.
What’s best than a hidden and chill atmosphere, outdoor to make the most of your Summer evenings in Paris, away from the crowds and especially the noisy place de Clichy two blocks away?
A perfect romantic gateway, after a walk in Montmartre (10 minute-walk from the hill). In the evening, come early (6-7pm) to grab a spot in the garden, this place is loved by the locals (especially since you can only book a table inside – some can be nice especially downstairs, by the window overlooking the garden).
On the kitchen side, a simple and refined French cuisine.
Can’t manage to find a seat? We recommend the Strobi, a romantic neo-bistrot a few meters away.
