A great win for tourism in Paris today as the French government annonced this Wednesday October 1, 2014 that the 3 most visited museums in France will be open 7 days a week, staring in 2015, as part of next year France Budget announcements.

The Louvre welcomes more than 9,2 million visitors a year, a world record when Versailles hosts 7 million people and Orsay 3,5 million. These museums are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This way, the government intends to make visitors feel more welcome and our masterpieces easier to reach.
