When in Paris, why not party on… the Champs-Elysées (We know we often say it’s a bad idea but we make one exception)?

Starting September 2nd, 2015, the club Queen will no longer be located on 102 avenue des Champs-Elysées but at number 79, just across. For its inauguration, this mythical, gay-friendly club will call French DJ David Guetta (who had also mixed there on its first opening night in 1992!).

Why the change of address?

After 23 years of crazy nights, it might seem abrupt to think that Queen is changing its locale on one of the most beautiful avenues in the world. Purchased by an American real estate group, this re-opening primarily responds to a big need to revamp its space and concept as the Parisian night scene. And above all, this change attempts to seduce Parisians anew who have been shying away from the idea of spending a night out on the Champs.

The new space? Bigger and with more design with 1200m2, with DJs and known artists (think Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Steve Aoki, Madonna, Bob Sinclair), dancers from the Crazy Horse and Lido, a DJ cabin suspended above the dance floor, a rotunda you can privatize with benches (see photo below), and the bar placed in the center of the room. It’s bound to be a fresh new experience.
