Night clubbers are gonna go nuts for this daytime techno event in Paris. On Saturday, September 13, 2014, the parade kicks off at 12pm for a 6km route from place de la Nation, through Place de la République to finally reach place de la Bastille around 7pm. If you’re in town with your friends September 13, and are ready to party all day, this once a year event is for you.
Now picture 150 performers and 500.000 dressed-up participants walking and dancing in the streets of Paris following one big parade, along with a few widly decorated floats.
Created in 1998, at a time electronic music was an underground scene, the Techno Parade promotes the French electronic music scene as a true cultural movement with this open-air musical event open to everyone, totally free of charge.
A special guest, Bristish legend Coldcut’s Matt Black, will be performing at Place de la Nation at 11:30am. The best way to start your day.
Any after parties? Some of you won’t stop the party at 7pm. Here’s what you can do from 8pm to 6am on Sunday, at the Docks de Paris, in Aubervilliers, just outside Paris. Check out the Facebook event and book your ticket.
