For the famous Banana Album‘s 50th anniversary, this immersive, impressionistic and multimedia exhibition dives into the Velvet Underground world. At the same time, two weekends of tribute concerts will celebrate the mythical band which opened a new chapter in music history.
Discover how a the intersection of pop culture and the avant-garde, conceptual art and tribal beats, juvenile shenanigans and the most sophisticated of theories, in Andy Warhol 1960s’ New York, Lou Reed and John Cale brought the Velvet Underground to life.
