During your trip in Paris, you may have noticed the large semblances of what seems to be a fair in the center of Paris near the Louvre. Bewildering to see at first and appearing as if almost out of thin air, the remarkable ferris wheels and more than 80 different rides are a near 20-year tradition every summer in Paris. Called “La Fête Foraine des Tuileries“, it has free entry for all those wishing to come and see it, although the rides themselves cost a fee.
With thrill rides, children’s rides, games, stalls, bumper cars, trampolines, and even fishing games, this travelling fair is perfect for families with children looking for a bit of fun during the summer months. Or, if you pass by it during a tour of the Tuilerie gardens, the juxtaposition of the modern travelling fair against the beautiful surroundings of the Garden and the Louvre are sure to make a memorable sight.
Come for the laughs, the games, the churros and the crêpes, and the excitement of a well established fair in Paris.
