Looking for a French-Russian food experience?
Dobro pozhalovat’ v Rossiyu! (Welcome to Russia!)
At Vatrouchka, in the Montparnasse district, next to the famous tower on the Left Bank in Paris, come spend a nice Russian time.
At the moment you cross the door step, you’re in for a travel to Moscow and a taste of Russian food and culture: from traditional meals to folk dances and songs.
Let yourself be tempted by one of the three menus (up to 29€ for three courses) and discover the most traditional dishes from Russian! Everything here is fresh and home made.
For a perfect Russian food experience, you have to try either the Borchtch soup (cabbage, beef, beetroot), Stroganoff beef (tender beef with a mushroom & sour cream sauce served over rice or noodles), goulash (traditional soup), meat stuffed cabbage, Tefteli (Russian meetballs), and the Vatrouchka, a white-cheese based cake.
Finally bring down the heat (or not actually) with some tasty Russian vodka (not the one you buy at the grocery store next door) as well as some discoveries like Georgian wines on their wine menu.
