France is all about wine. During the Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants, this four-day wine fair, discover small local producers from all over the country working under the “Independent winemakers” label. It’s the biggest fair of the year and the best way to pick up a few bottles and be sure to bring back home some quality goods at a lower price.
Located in South Paris, at Porte de Versailles, this festival hosts more than 1.000 winemakers. There, you’ll taste red and white wines from Bourgogne, Bordeaux, Alsace, Languedoc, Vallée-du-Rhône, etc. The winemakers will be pleased to tell all the stories behind the wine you’ll be tasting by the glass.
As soon as you arrive a glass will be handled to you. It will be yours for the entire tasting tour. And of course, you can bring it back home (as a souvenir).
Wine lovers, let us know which ones were your favorite!
