Even if Paris isn’t as filled with high-rises as New York or Berlin, the French capital still benefits from plenty of roof terraces to take in the beautiful view of the Parisian skyline. Without the steel and glass, the low architecture captures a wholly different sensation only possible in Paris.

Wanderlust

The terrace of the Cité de la Mode et du Design on the quai d’Austerlitz has become the place to be for the young hip Parisian. Open from spring to the beginning of autumn, you can sip cocktails while sitting on poufs overlooking the Seine, and eat from trending food trucks before dancing the night away to electro music. 43 up on the Roof

On the Left Bank, 43 Up on the Roof is a restaurant-terrace of the Holiday Inn Paris Notre-Dame, with an impressive view of the Eiffel Tower, the Panthéon, Sacré-Coeur and the roofs and inner courtyards of the buildings of the Sorbonne area. On the menu, original cocktails are made by your Barman recently renowned for his signature cocktail, the Anna K (lime, herbes de Provence, basil, Midori, tequila, green apple nectar, tonic).
