Time to put on your (rental) ice skates! Winter has come and so are its favorite Holiday activities. Among them stands iceskating.
But will you be brave enough to stand on ice? If you want to spend a great family time with your kids and loved ones, here are the locations you should head to.
On the rooftop of the Montparnasse Tower
Can you imagine the view from up there while ice skating?! From February 10th to March 5th, 2017, come iceskate on a 210 square-meter rink on the rooftop of the tower, 209 meters above the earth!
On the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower
In the mood for ice skating with a view of Paris from the 1st floor of the most famous monument of the world (57 meters above the Earth!)?
Tip: To avoid the crowds, don’t show up on Saturday afternoon (furthermore, the rink is pretty small).
Fares: Free, included in the Eiffel Tower ticket (you should book online to avoid an unecessary wainting line).
When? From December 15th 2016 to February 19th, 2017. From 10:30am to 10:30pm.
Where? Eiffel Tower, 1st floor, 75007 Paris. Metro stop: Ecole Militaire (Line 8).
Inside The Grand Palais
For the 3rd time, the Patinoire Grand Palais 2016-2017 takes place inside one of Paris most beautiful museum: The Grand Palais.
When? From December 14th to January 2nd, 2017 from 10am to 2am

Trocadero on Ice
Facing the Eiffel Tower, a 300 square-meter rink on the Place du Trocadéro, along side the local beautiful Christmas market. Perfect in West Paris.
When? Everyday from 11am to 11pm. From December 15 to January 8th, 2017
Where? Place du Trocadero. Metro: Trocadéro (Lines 6 & 9)
On the Champs-Elysées
Along with its dreamy Christmas market, the Champs-Elysées please you with its Christmas rink.
Fares: 10€ for adults, 8€ for kids.
Where? Avenue des Champs-Élysées (Metro: Clémenceau: Lines 1 & 13)
When? Every day until January 8th, 2017 from 10:30am to midnight.
On the Hôtel de Ville (City hall) parvis
Ice skate in front of Paris City Hall. A smaller rink on the side has been built for children under 6 years old.
Fares: 6 euros (free if you have your ice skates).
When? Canceled this year (security issues)
