If you’re visiting Paris, the city is sure to welcome you with incredible monuments, sights, and events. Luckily, travelling to Paris during the summer means you may be able to take advantage of previously inaccessible sites to make the most of your holiday.

Here are two temporary summer rooftops on historic monuments that serve as ideal vantage points to see the city and spend a nice afternoon for all groups, open during the summer months only.

Take in the view from the Tour Saint-Jacques

On weekends from June 5th to September 27th, take in one of the most beautiful 360° views of the city from the rooftop terrace of the Tour Saint-Jacques, first constructed in 1509 and centrally located near Hotel de Ville. Discover Paris like you’ve never seen before, side-by-side with centuries old Gothic sculptures in the heart of the city.

Be warned! There are 300 steps to climb, and children younger than 10 years of age are not allowed entry. Guided visits of 17 people take place every hour from Friday-Sunday from 10AM to 6PM, with last entry at 5PM. You can buy your tickets here.
